Sean Connery announced that he won't return to Indiana
Jones 4. Sir Connery explains: "Retirement
is just too damned much fun. I, do however, have
one bit of advice for Junior: Demand that the critters
be digital, the cliffs be low, and for goodness
sake keep that whip by your side at all times in
case you need to escape from the stunt coordinator!
This is a remarkable cast, and I can only say, 'Break
a leg, everyone.' I'll see you on May 22, 2008,

make another appearance in the fourth Indy film.
John has never been approached about a possible

Virginia Madsen so impressed co-star Harrison Ford
in their thriller Firewall
that she was once mentioned as the frontrunner to
play his love interest in the fourth film. Harrison
Ford himself expressed his hopes that "she'll
come over for Indiana Jones" in February 2006.
But the casting of Cate Blanchett and the return
of Karen Allen there is no room left for a third
female lead. |

in March 2007. When asked if Portman would be a
part of Indiana Jones 4,
