New Indy fan fiction adventure online!
Wednesday, February 11, 2004 - Gilles V's Fan Fiction Archive has been updated with a new Indiana Jones adventure written by Ran Dum Gui. The story is entitled Indiana Jones and the Legend of the Crystal Skulls and here follows a story summary:

After discovering a strange medallion from South Africa, Indiana Jones must travel to the Aztec Ruins to discover ancient artifacts that could put the world in jeopardy! But Indy is not the only one looking for this valuable treasure. Can Indy save the day before this new threat can find it, or will
the entire world fall into the hands of evil? Only time will tell in one of
Indiana Jones' most dangerous adventures yet!

New Indiana Jones serial: the Gypsy's Kiss

Indiana Jones fan & writer Monkey has created the first Indiana Jones serial. Today you can read the first chapter of Monkey's Indiana Jones and the Gypsy's Kiss fan fiction adventure.
The finished story will count more than 40 chapters. And you may expect to find a new chapter online on's Fan Fiction Archive every Monday & Thursday from now on!

2 new Indiana Jones fan films online!

Our Fan Films Theater has been updated with 2 new short films:

The first short film entitled Indiana Jones and the Crystal Cave is something very special! In this film Indiana Jones is played by the 8 years old Thomas Strater. Thomas made this film together with his father Jim Strater as both are very big Indiana Jones fans.
You can now view the first part of Indiana Jones and the Crystal Cave online! The second and third part will be released soon!

And the second is Indiana Jones: In Search of the Lost Dream, Fran Casanova's third Indiana Jones short film. This 3 minute Indiana Jones comedy answers the question on "What happens when a fan gets obsessed?"
Fran Casanova has let us know that he is currently editing his 4th Indiana Jones short film, Indiana Jones and the Dagger of Hell so stay tuned!


The Raven message board update

2 weeks ago we had some server problems that took the complete The Raven message board offline. It took us 1 week to restore all forums back, with the good news that only 1 days of forum activity was lost!

We didn't place the current version online last week but an upgrade to the latest version of vBulletin (Version 2.3.4). This version will give all members cool enhanced features + a complete new design made with the help of Paul Shipper's drawing skills! And the design is what keeps The Raven closed for public.
The Raven message board will re-open its doors once the design is finished and active.

New comic feature: A Kid Called Indy

A Kid Called IndyWe have a new feature for you, a comic strip series entitled A Kid Called Indy. From today on you will be able to follow the adventures of the young Indiana Jones fan named Cody here on

Young Cody is one of those fans that love to pretend he's Indy himself! Cody pretends everyday kinda stuff is really an adventure or a booby trapped room and stuff like that. His mom and dad got him a little whip and hat too so he can dress up and make playing outside as exciting as being in a jungle.

The Raven Message Board update

It's been a long time since The Raven message board was online. But don't worry, The Raven will be back! Here follows the current status of the new The Raven version 3.0

The Raven  v3.0Artist Paul Shipper, the same who helped me design, is currently finishing his work on the new version. Once his part is over, I can finish the new design for The Raven. Which means adjusting colors, buttons, and some little html work.
The new The Raven will have a total of 16 different forums, while the older version only had 11 forums. Plus the 4 current moderators will get the help of 4 fresh mods.
And last but not least, I have completed a list of 70 unique character avatars that will become available to the message board members!

TFN FanFilms will be helping us with offering you more new Indiana Jones fan films. The trailers of all Indiana Jones fan films will remain hosted at in our Fan Films Theater but the full films will become available for download at TFN FanFilms.

Keep an eye on and TFN FanFilms for new Indiana Jones fan films! There are already a few new fan films in post production, expected to be released later this month.


New Indiana Jones fanfilm trailer online

The Fan Films Theater has just been updated with the trailer of a new Indiana Jones fanfilm made in Spain. The fanfilm is directed by Lowy Lopez and is titled Indiana Jones and the Saris Heart.

The Indiana Jones and the Saris Heart adventure begins in 1935, Mexico, where Indy´s looking for the Moctezuma Ring. Nazi Müller Henrich wants the ring but Indy steals it in the last second. But the real adventure starts when Marcus tells Indy that he may go to rescue the Saris Heart in China...

The Raven returns on June 7!
Thursday, June 3, 2004 - Gilles V's own popular message boards The Raven will re-open its doors on Monday, June 7! After three months of absence The Raven will be back online on a new location, with a completely new design, new forums, and new member features.

New fan Film: Dagger of Hell part 1 online!

The first part of Fran Casanova's latest Indiana Jones fan film, titled Indiana Jones and the Dagger of Hell, is now online! Fran really has exceeded himself this time. This short film is very well made, and more importantly, also very entertaining!

Dagger of HellThe story of Indiana Jones and the Dagger of Hell starts in the Mexican desert in 1929 where Indy meets Lester Williams. Indiana will try to snatch a precious silver necklace from him regardless of the risk to his life. The adventure continues in several old inns, with chases through back streets, inside an aztec pyramid, all for the sake of an old priceless dagger.

The first part of the fan film can be downloaded on the Dagger of Hell page. The part is about 10 min. long and 36.7 Mb in size. A trailer of the fan film can also be downloaded on the same page.

I have received a 2 min. Outtakes film by Fran Casanova, director of 4 Indiana Jones fanfilms. The Outtakes film is filled with shots that didn't make the final cut in any of Fran's Indy fanfilms. As well as many bloopers and other funny stuff!

The Outtakes can be downloaded from Fran's Indiana Jones and the Dagger of Hell page. The file is only 8.58 Mb in size and is a must see if you are a fan of Fran Casanova's Indy films!

New fan film: Indy and the Samurai's Sword

We have a new exciting Indiana Jones fan film entitled Indiana Jones and the Samurai's Sword. This Indy fan film is made by Justin Daering. Here follows the story of the film:

During Indy's first year of college, he is asked by the museum to go to Japan to retrieve the sword of a samurai warrior. He and his college roommate Alex head of to Japan and begin investigating the whereabouts of the sword. But the plot thickens, when Indy learns the sword is cursed, and on top of that, he has this strange feeling he is being watched... Throw in some deceit and a little romance, and Indy is off on his first archaeological adventure.

Indiana Jones and the Samurai's Sword is 23 min. long and can be downloaded in various formats from Justin Daering's Natural Films website.

3 new Indiana Jones Fanfilms online!

As a holiday special,'s Fan Films Theatre is now screening 3 new Indiana Jones fanfilms. The new additions are:

  • Heart of the Lions Den
    A very enjoyable music video by dedicated to Indiana Jones. This video was made by Steven Ramsey who got his inspiration from Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation and Milk and Cereal.
  • Raiders of the Golden Eyeball: Special Edition
    This is the Special Edition version of an original Indy fanfilm made by Wayne Poe for high school back in 1982. It tells the story of Indy searching for a golden eyeball that helds all sorts of secrets about eye care. A classic!
