Indiana Jones' Legacy

George Lucas and Steven Spielberg not only created, what must be, the most recognizable adventure hero of the 20th century but when Raiders of the Lost Ark came out they also were responsible for the rebirth of the adventure films and series.
The success of the Indiana Jones films not only showed how much the adventure genre was appreciated by the audience bust was also a start of many more quality adventure series and poor rip-offs.
