Indiana Jones and the Sword of Excalibur

On a long sabbatical from his academic work in the States, Indiana Jones spends the whole night engrossed in research in the British Museum during the London blitz. He is searching for one of the main obsessions of his life: the legendary sword of Arthur, ancient Excalibur. He knows the sword is also the obsession of a a devilish cult descended from Morgana. The bombing reveals an underground river near St. Paul's Cathedral where Indy encounters the sword, and the cult wearing diving equipment. |
The French comic book publisher Bagheera made three 48 page Indiana Jones comic books starting in 1993. The first two French Indy comics were part of a Shell collection. All three comic books have been written and drawn by the duo Moliterni & Alessandrini. They are unfortunately not available in english.

Into the Great Unknown was a 10 page story from Star Wars Tales 19 and collected in Star Wars Tales Volume 5. It is the only known comic to combine Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

The mourning Chewbacca leaves the Falcon to live in the trees, where the natives believe him to be Sasquatch. 126 years later, the wreckage of the Falcon and Han's remains are found by the intrepid American archaeologist Indiana Jones and his sidekick, Short Round. Indy, spooked by how 'eerily familiar' the remains are, decides to leave them in peace. |
Dark Horse Comics published the comic adaptation of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Publisher Spotlight released the two issues — two for each cover — as four individual 24 page hardcovers for libraries in August, 2009.

Indiana Jones and the Lost Treasures was a magazine published biweekly in the United Kingdom by GE Fabbri in 2008. Eight exclusive 4-page comics were completed but only two were published. Each magazine featured jokes, games, puzzles and a collectable "treasure" such as the Ark of the Covenant to be showcased in a two tray storage crate supplied with the second issue.

In Egypt, 1939, Indiana Jones is approached by a rival of his named Dafoe who needs Jones's help in deciphering a stone that will lead to the tomb of Pharaoh Azudab the Great. Jones agrees on the condition that half of the find will go to the museum. In addition to a map to the tomb, the stone contains a message: "Azudab's Death Mask... can lead you to the afterlife with... all the riches that follow". Jones figures that they'll need the death mask for the answer and the next day the pair are joined by Jones's father, Professor Henry, Sr, and Dafoe's hired digger, Ahmed. While Dafoe relies on Ahmed to do the work, Indiana choses to dig for himself but it is Ahmed that uncovers the entrance. |

American botanist Josie Kelland has brought the tribe a crystal healing skull, which cures them when they make an offering of jewels and kiss it. Indy discovers Josie is poisoning the tribe with belladonna. He cures the tribe with toadstools and catches Josie before she can poison the tribe fatally and flee with their treasures. The tribe gives Indy the "ugly" flute, which he plays badly. |
