Several websites are spreading information on the Indiana Jones
and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull DVD release. And while
we are still waiting for an official announcement from Paramount
I assume that the following collected info is reliable:
Release date:
The film is supposed to be released on DVD in October, aimed for
a worldwide release. The release in Australia is set
for Thursday, 30 October 2008 while other sources claim other dates.
DVD/Blu-ray:
According to The
Digital Bits, Indiana Jones 4 will definitely be released
on DVD, while Blu-ray is undecided at the moment.
Versions:
Apparently there are at least 2 different editions planned:
- Special Single Disc Edition
- Limited Edition 2 Disc Box Set plus BONUS Crystal Skull Replica.
And we may also see a 'Quadrilogy' Box Set featuring all four Indy
films.
