Sideshow Collectibles
announced their new licensing deal with Lucasfilm for Indiana Jones
figures only a few days ago. And yesterday Sideshow already sneak-previewed
the head sculpt of the first 12-inch Indiana Jones figure at the
Comic-Con. Even though this is already the most perfect Harrison
Ford head sculpt I've ever seen to date, it is still unfinished
as sculptor Trevor Grove is currently waiting for approval.

Gentle
Giant surprisingly also had a few Indiana Jones statues on display
at the Comic-con. They showed 2 prototype Indiana Jones statues and a bronze Indiana Jones bust of about 7-inches tall. These statues are not final and are waiting for approval from the licensor.

Longtime visitors may have heard the name of 12-inch Indy figure
sculptor Trevor Grove before as he is an old friend of TheRaider.net.
Trevor is the maker of our Indy
Toons and used to impress fellow Indy fans with his Indy
artwork. But that has all been a long time ago as he is now
dedicating all his time and effort to sculpting the perfect Indy
for Sideshow
Collectibles.
