IndianaJones.com
has launched its collectibles site
with a look back at some of the more
interesting posters produced for the
Indiana Jones series both in the USA
and abroad.
Because
the Indy films, like the man himself,
have been seen in countless countries
on nearly every continent, the posters
have needed to appeal to different
aesthetic and cultural sensibilities.
The handful gathered here showcase
some of the best and most unique
imagery ever to grace an Indiana
Jones poster, capturing in a glance
the spirit of adventure and mystery
that so well define the Indiana
Jones saga.
The
official Indiana Jones site has also
interviewed award-winning poster artist
Drew Struzan about the making of one
of his latest Indiana Jones works.
This interview will be online on the
official site soon.

British
newspaper The
Sun recently conducted a Poll
to select the 10 best screen outfits
ever. The famous outfit worn by Harrison
Ford in the Indiana Jones Trilogy
was voted as the 5th best in Screen
History!
Now
if you look at the 9 other best outfits
and if you forget you're an Indiana
Jones fan for just a second - I ask
a lot, I know - then the fifth place
is excellent! But we're all Indiana
Jones fans... the famous fedora +
leather jacket deserves more than
only a 5th position.

Our
partners at IndyGear.com
are currently looking for a committed
individual to fill a vacancy at their
Webmaster Position:
This
is a unique opportunity and would
particularly benefit someone interested
in learning more about the hobby
or perhaps serve as an opportunity
to add to their resume.
Site staff are unpaid voluntary
positions. The work is production/build-out
based, and should not be necessarily
considered a "design"
opportunity. The main criteria we
are looking for is commitment/longevity
to the project and enthusiasm for
the subject matter.

here for more information.
