Here's
an original Indiana Jones site, the
Indiana Jones IV World Premier
Camp-out Website! Indyfan
James "Montana" Maxwell
created a camp-out site for the fourth
Indiana Jones movie ala Star
Wars. He devoted a site to
this and hopes to help other Indiana
Jones fans prepare for this most wonderful
event.
You
remember our Star Wars
Brothers and Sisters who camped
out for days, weeks, months just
to be in line for the first showing?
That's what we're planning for IJ
IV. That's right. It will be a truly
epic undertaking, involving fans
all over the world, each sharing
a very unique, but very similar
experience. So why not head to planning
and find out what you should do
to make your camp out successful?
Is
this already the beginning of the
Indiana Jones 4 hype?!
Anyway, good luck with your site James!
Hit
the link above to pay a visit to this
camp-out site.

What
do George Lucas, Steven Spielberg,
Ridley Scott, Robert Zemeckis and
Jim Henson all have in common? The
art of Drew Struzan. Struzan's official
site has announced that Dreamwave
is going to publish a book dedicated
to Drew's career. Here's a part of
the press release:
Hollywood,
CA—Drew Struzan, is the best-
kept secret in Hollywood. Over the
last thirty years, he's created
many of Hollywood’s most memorable
posters. His art has touched the
lives of generations of filmgoers
with unforgettable images for The
Star Wars Trilogy,
Raiders of the Lost Ark,
Indiana Jones and the Temple
of Doom, The Phantom
Menace, Blade Runner,
First Blood, The
Thing, Back to
the Future I - III, Harry
Potter and the Sorcerers Stone,
and hundreds more. Finally, these
posters have been collected into
one stunning full color volume,
Drew Struzan/Oeuvre, coming this
November from Dreamwave.
Struzan’s
distinctive style redefined the
classic movie hero, and his exceptional
innovations and artistry have made
him top call for studio marketers
for two decades. Struzan has collaborated
with visionaries such as George
Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Robert
Zemeckis, John Carpenter, Jim Henson
and many others. His style is so
distinctive and recognizable that
his innovations in montage, composition
and color have become standards
in the industry.
Authors
Jessie and Amy Horsting, examine
the unique forces shaping Struzan’s
career, his rise as an illustrator,
and the perseverance required to
succeed and thrive in a notoriously
fickle industry. Featuring a foreword
by George Lucas, the book also focuses
on the history of some ground-breaking
posters, relates a few celebrity
encounters, and offers commentary
from Harrison Ford, Frank Darabont,
Alice Cooper, Robert Zemekis, Jim
Henson and many others who have
had close encounters with this giant
talent.
Drew
Struzan's Oeuvre book will be released
this November. Click
here to read the full press
release.
Drew's
official site also released a brand
new Indiana Jones poster. Click
