"Raiders
of the Lost Ark" Special Edition coming? |

At
a screening of the 20th Anniversary
Edition of E.T. - The Extra Terrestrial,
producer Frank Marshall spoke with
fans a bit about the future of Indiana
Jones.
Here's
a part of the E.T. Special
Edition review at DreamWorks
SKG Fansite:
Without
a doubt, one of the high points
of the experience was talking to
Marshall about the future of Indiana
Jones. We simply that mentioned
that Raiders had been the
movie that started our lifelong
obsession with film, and he seemed
thrilled by the prospect of talking
about it. "We're
thinking about doing this with Indy"
he said, "bringing
it back out and spiffing up the
effects." Before seeing
the new E.T., we would have
had mixed feelings about seeing
Raiders touched in any way.
Now the prospect is mouthwatering.
Marshall also confirmed what everybody
wants to hear, that they are starting
to get serious about Indy IV. "Harrison
told me we need to do this before
I m in a wheelchair",
he joked. (Okay, from you re perspective,
this is old news, but to get it
straight from Marshall himself was
pretty darn cool).

Udoiana
Raunes 3 is looking for a sponsor |

Thomas
Wagner & Stefan Zwanzger are planning
to make a third Udoiana Raunes
adventure game with high resolution
graphics containing cartoon-characters
like Spielberg, Lucas and Ford themselves
and more. It will again be a free
game like the old ones, but totally
perfect!
But
there's one problem. The making of
Udoiana Raunes III will cost
a lot and Wagner & Zwanzger are
therefor looking for a sponsor. They
offer one single sponsor the opportunity
of a high quality product placement
in the game. The sponsor should be
Indiana Jones-, Star Wars- or adventure-
related. Raunes will mention the "product"
more than four times during the game
and Zwanzger will make the website/product
a fitting part of the story!
Are
you interested in sponsoring them
and giving the development a "GO"
or do you want more info on this project?
Then contact Stefan
Zwanzger or visit the Udoiana
Raunes website.
It
might be interesting to mention that
the second Udoiana Raunes game
has been played at least more than
100.000 times worldwide!

Hotdog
magazine recently interviewed
Pat Roach for their Raiders of
the Lost Ark special (see Tuesday,
February 12). Many people may not
know this but Pat Roach has also appeared
in all three Indiana Jones films.
He played a Sherpa in the Raven bar
fight plus the German Mechanic in
Raiders. And also played the
giant Thuggee guard in Temple of
Doom and a giant Gestapo in Last
Crusade. Hotdog asked Pat Roach
two questions related to Indiana Jones
4.
Would
you do a fourth Installment?
"I've
heard that so many times as a certainty,
and it's fallen through every time
I've just written a book and we
got in touch with Harrison and even
he said it was going to happen."
So would you be up for another fight
with him (Indiana Jones)?
"Well,
yeah, of course... providing I get
to kill him and get the girl."
The
March 2002 edition of Hotdog
contains more cool interviews with
Harrison Ford, Wolf Kahler (Dietrich),
Karen Allen (Marion), John Rhys-Davies
(Sallah), storyboard artist David
J Negron, and casting director Mike
Fenton. The magazine also contains
Raiders of the Lost Ark toys,
art, spoofs and more.
