Harrison Ford has been jumping around the talk show and interview
circuit promoting his new film; Extraordinary Measures
and has been asked repeatedly the status of the fifth installment
of Indiana Jones. Now while fans had to endure an 18 year development
hell for the release of 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom
of the Crystal Skull, Ford has spoken publicly on his desire
to get on with it... sooner rather than later.
Speaking to the print edition of Empire magazine and other sources
Ford has said this:
"If we find a script and develop a
story in less than the 18 years it took to make the last one,
if I'm still alive, I'll make myself available," he
said.
This coupled with remarks made by Karen Allen that Indy 5
should be in production in spring of 2011 (see the IndyCast #94
podcast flickr
page) has made us believe that they are definitely doing their
best to give us at lease one more epic ride with everyone's favorite
archeologist!
